Our Golden Lotus Altar Cabinet makes a unique small home altar, travel altar or a decorative accent piece. It is beautifully hand-crafted in renewable Thai mango wood and finished by hand in a satin reddish brown finish. The hinged front panel of the altar cabinet drops down to access ample storage for altar supplies. The golden lotus design is silk-screened on the door panel, and also cut into each side of the cabinet, adding elegant touches to the home altar. The altar cabinet measures 19" x 11.75" x 12" high. Accessories not included.

The lotus, rooted deep in the mud at the bottom of the pond, rises up through the murky water and opens in the sunlight, beautiful and fragrant. In Buddhism the lotus represents the True Nature of all beings, who rise through samsara (earthly life) into the beauty and clarity of enlightenment.
