Benjarong Porcelain Covered Jar - Classic Shape With Raised Jewel Designs

The latest addition to our selection of covered mini porcelain altar/incense jars feature unique one-of-a-kind raised "jewel" designs. They are painted entirely by hand and require two separate firings to create the textured finish. Crafted by the famous Thai artisan family "Benjarong," these miniature works of porcelain art are the result of hundreds of years of tradition and fine craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation.

Each jar is decorated in rich raised colors accented with 18 kt gold. Filled with rice, they are perfect to hold stick incense. They also make elegant containers for rings or jewelry, or as little decorative treasures for collectors of fine porcelain. Size: 2.5" diameter (lid) 3.25" high.

Since the Benjarong jars are one of a kind painted by hand by an artisan group, when you choose 2 of the same color, you will get the one shown and the second one will be different but of the same general color scheme.
