Celadon Glaze Star Fruit Vase

Our 'Star Fruit" vase is crafted in heavy porcelain with an antique double-fired celedon crackle glaze. The unique colors of celadon varies depending on the type of minerals and pigments used in the glaze. This particular glaze is has a grayer tinge compared to Chinese celadon, which is more blue-green or the traditional Thai celadon which is usually a bright light green.

The glazing technique used on this piece intentionally provides a subtle texture of small pits and darker spots that gives the vase a timeless antique feel.
