Gold Leaf Painting Hand Painted on Lacquered Wood - Cranes & Dragonflies Set

This pair of beautiful unique gold leaf paintings were entirely hand panted and finished with a protective coating on the surface of the wood to ensure durability. Gold leaf is applied to the entire wood piece and the artist, Yanzhen, paints the images using several layers of lacquer. Each layer is individually hand polished, taking several days to create the deep shinning, rich finish, which protects the painting from water, dust and scratch. This style of painting is resplendent, unique and collectible. Each piece in this set measures 11” x 10” wide.
