Meditation Cushion Zafu & Zabuton Set "Lotus Lake Blossoms" Purple

This beautiful combination fill meditation cushion zafu, Purple "Lotus Lake Blossoms," is crafted from a rare find, out-of-print 100% cotton fabric designed by the renowned artist Kaffe Fassett. The solid color fabric is silk/rayon blend.

One side of the zafu is filled with organic buckwheat hull grown in the U.S. and the other side with natural kapok fiber. This is like having two types of cushions in a single zafu so the meditators could trade off sides to change the pressure points. The meditation cushion zafu cover zips off for dry cleaning and has sewn-in handle for easy transport. A small zipper in the cotton canvas insert allows adjustment to the clean organic buckwheat fill to your preferred firmness and support. The meditation cushion measures 14" in diameter with a 7” loft.

The meditation cushion floor mat zabuton is filled with clean natural kapok that works well under any zafu to provide maximum comfort and support for your meditation practice. The zabuton cover zips off for dry cleaning if necessary. The meditation cushion comes with a sewn-in handle for easy transport and measures 34” x 30” x 6” loft.

The lotus, Buddha's flower, rooted deep in the mud at the bottom of the pond, rises up through the murky water and opens in the sunlight, beautiful and fragrant. In Buddhism the lotus represents the True nature of all beings, who rise through samsara (earthly life) into the beauty and clarity of enlightenment.
